Who is responsible for your information
OS Ignite, Inc. decides why and how personal information is used on https://www.osignite.com, and is the business responsible for it under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.
You can reach us at info@osignite.com or (888) 949-5995. Our postal address is 3333 Michelson Dr Suite 300, Irvine, CA 92612.
This statement explains how we use information collected through this website. Please read it carefully.
How we approach your personal data
We follow applicable privacy laws. This means that:
- We explain why we process personal data in this privacy statement.
- We collect only the personal data needed for legitimate purposes.
- We ask for your consent before processing personal data when consent is required.
- We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, and we require the same from parties that process personal data on our behalf.
- We respect your right to access your personal data, or to have it corrected or deleted, at your request.
Purpose and categories of data
We collect personal information for one purpose on this website: to answer you when you send us a message through a form.
When you submit a form we receive what you typed into it, the page you submitted it from, and the time you did so. The fields on each form are the complete list of what that form collects.
We also record a truncated version of your IP address. The final part is discarded before storage, so it identifies a general area and cannot be used to identify you or your connection. It is kept as evidence that a submission came from a real request.
There is no account to create on this site, no profile is built in the background, and nothing you do here is tracked across other websites.
| Category | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Addressing you in a reply | 6 months |
| Email address | Sending you a reply | 6 months |
| Phone number, where you give one | Calling you back if you asked us to | 6 months |
| Message content | Answering what you asked | 6 months |
| Truncated IP address | Evidence the submission was a real request | 6 months |
Why we are allowed to hold it
We keep what you send us so we can respond. If you are entering into a contract with us, we may also need it to provide that service.
We ask for consent only for optional features such as analytics. When no optional feature is in use, we do not ask you to make a choice.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are deleted 6 months after they arrive. The deletion time is written onto the record when it is stored, and the database removes the record automatically when that time passes.
Each deletion is recorded in an append-only log with the record and date, never its contents. This lets us confirm a submission was deleted without keeping a copy of it.
If you ask us to delete something sooner, we do. The same log records the deletion.
Sharing with other parties
We share or disclose your personal information only with the recipients below and only for the stated purpose. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.
Cloudflare is contacted before you have made any choice about optional cookies, because the site cannot function safely otherwise. The table marks which.
No page on this site contacts any company absent from this table.
| Who | What for | Where | Contacted before consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Checks that the contact form is being filled in by a person rather than an automated script. Loads on your first interaction with the form. | United States | Yes |
| Amazon Web Services | Stores the submission, and sends us word that one arrived without any of its contents. | United States (N. Virginia) | No |
| Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) | Loads the measurement scripts this site runs, so they can be changed without rebuilding the site. It stores nothing of its own. | United States | No |
| Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Counts visits and records which pages are read, so we can tell which parts of the site are useful. Advertising features are switched off, so it does not build a profile or follow you to other sites. | United States | No |
| Google Maps (Google LLC) | Draws the map. It is not loaded until you ask for it by pressing the button in its place, and loading it tells Google your network address. | United States | No |
Disclosure practices
We disclose personal information if we are required by law or by a court order, in response to a law enforcement agency, to the extent permitted under other provisions of law, or for an investigation on a matter related to public safety. Where we are permitted to tell you that this has happened, we will.
If our website or organization is taken over, sold, or involved in a merger or acquisition, your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers, and will be passed on to the new owners.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We honor it without asking again, wherever you live.
Do Not Track is an older browser header with no agreed meaning. This site reads Global Privacy Control because it carries a defined instruction.
Automated decisions and profiling
There are none. Nothing on this site makes a decision about you automatically, scores you, or builds a profile of your behavior.
Cookies
Our cookie policy lists every cookie and storage item this site uses, what each is for, and how long it lasts. You can read it at www.osignite.com/cookies/.
Security
We use security measures to limit misuse and unauthorized access to personal data. Only people who need access receive it. We protect that access and review our measures regularly.
The security measures in use on this website consist of:
- Transport encryption, with HTTP Strict Transport Security, so a browser will not connect to this site without it.
- A Content Security Policy built from the hash of every script the site ships, which prevents the execution of any script we did not publish.
- Separation of each client at the infrastructure level, so one cannot reach another.
- Encryption of stored submissions, both in transit and at rest.
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on the sending domain, so mail claiming to come from us can be checked.
- Restriction of access to stored submissions to the people who need it.
The limits of that
No system is completely secure. If a breach puts you at risk, we will notify the relevant authority within 72 hours and tell you without undue delay.
Third-party websites
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites linked from this site. We cannot guarantee how those parties handle personal data. Read their privacy statements before using their sites.
Accessing and modifying your data
Contact us with questions or to ask which personal data we hold about you. We will provide the requested information after receiving a verifiable consumer request.
We will ask you to confirm who you are before we act on a request for access, correction or deletion. Handing someone else your information on request would be a worse failure than asking you to prove who you are, and we will not ask for more than is needed to be sure.
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- You may submit a request for access to the data we process about you.
- You may object to the processing.
- You may request an overview, in a commonly used format, of the data we process about you.
- You may request correction or deletion of the data if it is incorrect, or not or no longer relevant, or ask us to restrict its processing.
- You may appeal our decision whenever we refuse to take action on a request, and submit a complaint with the competent authority if your appeal is denied.
Making a request
We reply within 45 days, as the CPRA requires. We record when each request arrives and when it is due.
These rights are free to use. Exercising them does not change your service or price.
Use the form below or write to info@osignite.com. Both routes start the same process.
California residents (CPRA)
This section supplements the rest of this privacy statement and applies to residents of California.
- The right to know what personal information is collected about you: the categories collected, the categories of sources it comes from, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, the categories of third parties it is shared with, and the specific pieces of personal information held about you.
- The right to know whether personal information is sold or shared, and to whom.
- The right to request deletion of personal information collected from you. We may decline a deletion request where §1798.105(d) permits it, such as to complete a transaction you asked for, to detect security incidents, to debug, or to comply with a legal obligation. We will tell you which ground applies.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- The right to equal service and price when you exercise any of these rights.
We have not sold or shared consumers’ personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we have not disclosed it for a business purpose beyond the recipients named above. You may still submit an opt-out using the form above, and we will confirm that there is nothing to stop.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Children
Our website is not designed to attract children, and we do not intend to collect personal data from children under the age of consent in their country of residence. We ask that children under the age of consent do not submit any personal data to us. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Amendments to this privacy statement
This version took effect on 2026-09-14. When we update this privacy statement, we change the date at the top. Prior versions are available on request.
We will tell you before reducing your rights under this statement. Please check this statement regularly. We will also notify you of changes where practical.
